photo a day dilemma

I realized I have been slacking on posting a photo a day.  I do not want to give up taking a photo a day.  I like the idea of photo a day, it makes me put the camera in my hand everyday which I love to do.  I just don't enjoy posting a new photo everyday.  I feel like the post is boring with one photo, and many times I would like to post about other things... and I only want to post once a day.

So here is my conclusion= I will take a photo everyday corresponding to that day's topic and I will post my photo a day photos on Fridays.

Day 14- something your reading

Parents Magazine

Day 15- happiness

I was overwhelmed with happiness the day my son was born.  We were so blessed to be surrounded with love and support from our family.  

I love this picture frame, you can find it here at babies r us.  The background color flips to be either pink or blue!  :)  I need to get one of these for the newest addition.

Day 16- Morning

She is one of the 1st things I see in the morning.  I am not gonna kid you and say I don't look forward to putting the kids down to sleep because I do.  I enjoy the night time routine, I enjoy putting on the night light, I enjoy good night kisses, I enjoy my time to relax after they go to bed and the house is quite.  Most of all I enjoy waking up to beautiful happy children.

Day 17- Water

Look at that grumpy face!  You would think she doesn't like baths or water.  That's a big old fat lie.  She loves sitting in the water.  Both my kids love water.  I have a feeling I am going to have to drag them out of the pool in the summer when they get older.  Let's take some time out to look at her chubby face, chunky chick looks like she lost her neck!

Day 18- Something you bought

I didn't buy this Santa made this!  :)  We got this beautiful ID bracelet for McKenna for Christmas.  I racked my brain trying to think of something to get her for Christmas.  What girl doesn't like jewelry?!?!  I would like to get her a little piece of jewelry ever Christmas and make it a tradition.  

The back is also engraved with the "2011".

Day 19- Sweet

I accidentally let the bananas go bad :(  BUT I remembered my friend Mallory at Mallory's Musings posted a recipe for banana bread a while back so I made it!

I made one like she did with chocolate chips and another one with walnuts.  

Day 20-  Someone you love

I love me some Logan!  I am completely obsessed with his eyelashes.  Its always the boys that have the long gorgeous lashes!  I am also obsessed with his eyebrow... yes i say eyebrow because its not plural!  LOL   I really would like to get them waxed.... but I know its a form of child abuse.  Either way he is way cute and I love him!

Day 11 Where you sleep

Yes i still use my Boppy pregnancy pillow even though I'm not pregnant.  Don't judge me... its comfortable!

& no my daughter does not sleep with us.... she just likes hanging out there once in a while.

Day 12 - Close-Up
This is my son's sneaker.  He loves to take out all his sneakers out the closet and look at them.  Weird I know, but whatever makes him happy!  :)  These are his favorite ones, they light up to reveal a puma skeleton.  I had my camera out and he actually gave me his sneaker..... sooooo sneaker pic it is!  LOL

Day 13- In your bag

The question is what's NOT in my bag?!?!?  So I don't have a "bag" anymore.  I have a diaper bag.  Although I would like to go handbag shopping, I realize I probably won't have a handbag for about 3 years.  I am content with a diaper bag because a diaper represents being a mom.  I love being a "mama"!  :)

Day 7- favorite

My hair doesn't curl... well I should say it didn't.  UNTIL NOW!  

My hair actually holds a curl thanks to this mean pink machine!

Day 8- Your sky

Not so pretty.  Cold and bear trees against the white sky.

Day 9- Daily Routine

Up until I have lunch we do the same thing basically everyday.  After that it can change day to day

depending on what we want to do or have to do.  Then when the kiddies go to bed I

typically do my routine of "mommy time".

Day 10- Childhood

I loved these books when I was growing up.  I was so beyond happy when my 

sister got this collection for my son.  :)

Day 5- something you wore

I got this necklace for Christmas from my in-laws.... I am in love with it!  There is no cuter way to symbolize that I have 2 babies then with this pea pod necklace!  

Day 6- makes you smile

I love baby feet!  They are so soft, so tiny, oh so cute!  The thought alone makes me smile, but when I think someday taken this little foot to get a pedicure together makes my smile bigger.  :)  

I am going to enjoy some mommy and daughter bonding.

I am very new at my camera.  I basically do not know how to use it, but I do shoot 99% of my stuff in manual mode.  I figured I'm not going to learn anything in automatic mode!  :)  I have decided to do a photo a day.  I am starting late but oh well. That's the way the world works sometimes...especially when you have kids.

day 1- you

this is me very pregnant with my daughter on delivery day

day 2- breakfast

 today's breakfast- egg white omelet with mushrooms, bell peppers, cheddar cheese topped with salsa and a side of strawberries.  All under 225 calories.

 

 day 3- something you adore

My husband and son @ Epcot.  We are a family that loves Disney World.  We went a week after Logan's 1st Birthday.  Disney World is where he learned to walk.

day 4- letterbox

to be honest I am not even sure I did this right, but I love the picture anyway.  

Logan looks so proud to be a big brother!
